Track the price you actually pay.

DropRoost is the App Store wishlist that watches in-app purchase and subscription prices — not just the sticker price that’s been $0.00 for a decade. With a real server behind it, so price-drop alerts actually arrive.

What makes it different

The number that’s actually changing.

Most apps are free to download and charge inside. DropRoost tracks that price — the unlock, the Pro tier, the annual sub — and tells you the moment it drops.

In-app & subscription prices

The one thing no other wishlist tracks. Watch the Pro unlock, the lifetime tier, or the annual subscription — and catch it the moment it goes on sale.

The wedge

Alerts that actually arrive

A real server checks prices around the clock and pushes you a notification. No relying on the phone to wake up and check — the thing that makes every “instant alert” competitor unreliable.

Target & % rules

Alert me under $5. Alert me at 30% off. Alert me the moment it’s back on sale. Set the rule per item and stop watching the store yourself.

175 storefronts

The same app can cost half as much in another region. DropRoost compares prices across App Store storefronts so you can buy where it’s cheapest.

Full price history

See every price the item has been, on a chart. Know whether “on sale” is really a deal or just the price coming back down to normal.

Add from anywhere

Share any App Store page straight into DropRoost from the share sheet. Your list syncs across your devices over your private iCloud — widgets keep it one glance away.

Why every other wishlist shows $0.00

The App Store moved to free-with-in-app-purchase a decade ago. The apps you actually want — Procreate-style unlocks, Pro tiers, lifetime deals, annual subscriptions — are all free to download. Their real price lives inside.

Sticker price $0.00 Pro unlock $29.99 → $14.99

Every other wishlist app tracks the number on the left. It’s been zero for years and it’s never going to change. DropRoost tracks the number on the right — the one you were actually waiting on a sale for.

And because prices are checked on a server instead of hoping your phone wakes up to do it, the alert lands when the sale starts — not hours late, not never.

Pricing

No subscription for the app itself.

The whole app is free. Pay once to unlock power features. Only the part that runs a live server all year is a small annual charge — and only if you want it.

Common questions

What can DropRoost track that other wishlists can’t?

The price of in-app purchases and subscriptions — the Pro unlock, the lifetime tier, the annual plan. That’s the number that actually costs money for modern apps, and no other App Store wishlist tracks it. Everyone else tracks the download price, which is $0.00 for almost everything.

Why do alerts “actually arrive”?

Most wishlist apps check prices on your device using background refresh, which iOS gives no guarantee about — so the check often runs late or not at all. DropRoost checks prices on its own server and sends you a push notification the moment something drops. Reliability is the whole point.

Is it really a one-time purchase?

The app and the Unlock are one-time — buy once, keep forever, share with your family. The only recurring charge is IAP Tracking ($4.99/year), because it runs a live server checking in-app prices around the clock all year. If you only want app-price alerts, you never pay a subscription.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with a native app on each — plus Apple Vision Pro. Your wishlist syncs across all of them through your private iCloud account.

I use another wishlist app. Can I bring my list over?

Yes. DropRoost can import a list exported from WSH LST, so you don’t start from an empty screen.

How do refunds work?

Purchases go through Apple, so refunds do too. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 90 days of purchase to request one.
